Summary: You're a woman who has gone through multiple dating apps and multiple matches that turned out to be a bust. And tonight, you were supposed to meet a handsome man that you had been talking to for the past month. You get to the restaurant dressed to the nines, and even wearing new lingerie that you had bought for the occasion. If things didn't turn sexy, at least you could feel sexy for yourself right? No loss there. Wanting to be polite and proper, you arrive a little early to get a table. You wait for about 10 minutes until the meet up time. He doesn't show. You wait for one hour. The man lives a while away and said he had work before coming to meet you, so you give him the benefit of the doubt and wait some more. Then two hours pass. You message him to ask if he's ok. No response. Then after the third hour passes without a word from your date, you realize that you had been stood up for his entertainment. He had been laughing at you in secret. Unable to contain your tears, you bury your face in your hands and begin to sob. You're trying to be quiet as to not disturb the other customers. You feel a soft tap on your shoulder and look up, seeing your waiter smiling softly to you. And in a kind, gentle voice he asks "Can I sit with you?"
