Love can be very hard to put into words at times, though it’s often necessary to try. This monologue walks through some of the stages of falling in love. The dreaminess, the excitement, the fear, the uncertainty… all leading to a quiet, trembling truth. The speaker isn’t confessing to the listener so much as thinking aloud, letting the listener overhear the real reasons they know they’re in love.
