For this Flashback Friday I bring a comfort audio specifically for queer folx who have been distressed by things that have been in the news. It’s adapted from a lovely script by the utterly sweet u/livejoker. I’m immensely appreciative that I was given permission to adapt this script in this fashion.

In 2 versions of this audio I play the listener’s character's girlfriend, and in 4 versions I play their Mistress.
In all versions, the listener’s character wakes up from a nightmare implied to be relating to attacks on LGBTQIA+ rights in the news. My character helps calm them down by making a joke about defending them with her baseball bat, running her fingers through their hair, letting them listen to her breathe, reassuring them, running them through a breathing exercise, kissing them, and cuddling them back to sleep. In the girlfriend versions, my character briefly tells a story about a parent of hers comforting her in her childhood.
In all versions the body configuration, hair color, and skin pigmentation of the listener’s character are left ambiguous. The listener’s character has hair in a style that one can run their fingers through. Queer is used in a positive manner. This should be safe for asexuals who enjoy kissing.
