Hello, once again! And happy valentine's day, lovelies!
I thought today was just the right time to post a story I'd been sitting on for a while now. It MAY or may not be based on an actual fantasy I had recently... I will never tell.
Regarding the format of today's audio: I've long found it fascinating how nowadays the practice of sending voice memos (instead of texts or emails or calls) has become so common. I kind of love it. It's a medium so ripe for the capture of messily-constructed thoughts that you don't have to edit-to-death in writing; not to mention its got such potential to set you up for divulging things in such a level of detail, uninterrupted -- unlike you would in the restraint of normal conversation -- that one might end up revealing rather intimate things before they even know what's hit them. What's the non-morbid version of the old saying to "give someone a platform, and they'll hang themselves from it?" I suppose that's what I mean.
There's a sort of freedom from self-consciousness about that (unless, of course, you're the type to re-record ad infinitum until you get it right😅 And if so, god be with you). I think it's so very useful and (dare I say it) a little erotic and vulnerable in the same way that old-school voicemail was; this is no new phenomena, to be sure, but... I just enjoy that it's coming back, is all.
Go out there and surprise yourself with a voice memo every once in a while, everybody😋 Ya never know what'll fall out of you.

You're off on a business trip in some beautiful locale or other... but your partner back home misses you OH so much. So, upon feeling sentimental (and drinky) one evening, she endeavors to send you a voice note. Not just to inform you of the gravely important matter of how much she wishes she could be right there next to you at this very moment... but also to tell you about a VERY steamy dream she had about you just the other night. Rambly, yearning, and inordinately giggly monologuing ensues, until your beloved just gets so caught up that she even has trouble ending the recording, procrastinating all the while.
