The idea for this one struck in the middle of the night a few weeks ago, with such severity that I decided right then and there that I simply had to improv and record it that very night.

Here's our narrative set up for tonight's audio:
It's a rather cold evening in the hotel where you and your colleagues have decided to crash. You've just completed a long day of Moving Company work (hauling boxes and expensive furniture in and out of houses that cost more than you'll probably make in your entire life combined, and veritably losing your body-weight in sweat more than a few times-over, etc., etc., etc.)
But it looks like the hotel reservations were misunderstood by the clerk-- you and one of your pals on the moving-team have been shunted into a room with a single bed this evening... and it's too late for the reservation to be altered. No rooms with 2 beds left in the whole darn place.
So, as you both wind down for bed, trying to fit your two-selves into this tiny motel boxspring and endure the arguably broken A/C still blasting in the dead-of-winter weather somehow-- your platonic banter and teasing eventually turns into each of you lying a little closer to the other in bed than you'd expected you would. And... maybe it's not so bad. Up this close, you start to wonder if maybe your co-worker isn't the overly-chatty queen you thought he was. Maybe he's kinda cute, actually, and... worth kissing. You two might just find yourselves a way to stay warm, after all❤️
